I just bought this ukulele and its way out of tune, and I literally have no clue how to tune it. I’ve been reading a lot of articles on how to tune it but I just can’t do it. If I take it to a music store would they tune it for me?

Buy a tuner. You’re going to need one if you intend to ever play this thing. You need to tune it before every time you play it. Use this site for now. http://www.get-tuned.com/ukulele_tuner.php
What you do is go down to the colorful graphic. On the bottom of that are big buttons labeled G, C, E, and A. These are the notes that the strings should play (4th should play G, 3rd should play C, etc.). Hit the button to hear the note. Then turn the little pegs up top until each string plays the note it is supposed to.

Agree with the answer above, get a chromatic clip on tuner. The clip will use a sensor to feel the vibration. It’s easier to use, in my opinion, than one that uses the sound of the string (other surrounding sounds may influence it)
Don’t expect to pay more than around $20.
